Anthony Adam’s Blog:
Hey Chicago, what do you say?
You guys all have your shopping done yet? Tis the season. I'm at that stage where I don't really get excited about presents for me as much as I do for giving them to my son. We got him a train set and couple educational videos including Elmo's Potty Time. You can't go wrong with Elmo!
It's amazing how many people come up to me before a road trip and say stuff like "enjoy Baltimore, have a crab cake for me". The truth is for me I'm a homebody, you'll find me just head straight to the hotel room when we get into town. I usually get some room service, watch some college football and that's it. Kind of how I am at home. I like to stick around my place, coming down to the Huddle show each week is actually a pretty deal for me.
Well this is my last entry for the year, thanks for all your support all year long. I know this year more than ever that we have the best fans as you guys always are there to support us. Hope you enjoyed watching me on Chicago Huddle...til next year, Happy Holidays and have a Great and Safe New Years!
Bear Fans,
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I spent Turkey Day here in Chicago and it was a great day. Between my family and some single guys I invited over for the meal, it was a full day in more ways than one. I told some of the guys that came over to just bring your appetite, it was great hosting a couple of guys who don't have any family in the area. We had quite the spread as well with deep fried turkey, various styles of potatoes and an assortment of pies for dessert. After dinner and dessert, we played some board games and called it a day. After all that food, I got sleepy and dozed off watching football. Thanksgiving is also a time to be grateful for what you have. I'm very grateful for having the opportunity to play in front of the best fans in the NFL, thank you for all the support this season. Catch ya next time!
Hey Bears fans, what's going on? Glad to be back hosting Chicago Huddle. If any of you made it down to the show last week you saw me playing the drums before we went on air. I think I'm getting pretty good! The drums are a great way to spend some free time. Of course I'm just like you guys and I like to watch a lot of other sports too. The Bulls look pretty good so far, but being a Detroit guy I have to go with my Pistons. Hopefully they'll be neck and neck with the Bulls in the Central all season long.
Any body seen any movies lately? I saw "This Is It", the new Michael Jackson movie. Wow it was great. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for all your support and Lets Go Bears!
Bear Fans,
After the bye week, its good to get back in the swing of things and host another show. Had a pretty laid back bye week, just really spent time with my wife and son. We didn't go anywhere too exciting, just hung out around Chicago. I did get to spend some more time on the drums, playing a little more each day. Sometimes I like to play in the morning and be the "family alarm clock" for everyone to wake up to. I also had a couple guys over to the house for meals. Fellow Defensive Tackle Marcus Harrison and I have become good friends. We have a new nickname for him, "The Garbage Disposal".
Other than that, hope all is well with our fans! I'm just focusing on making this my best season yet. Hopefully, I'll get to show of a dance move or too in the next couple weeks, we'll see. It's a long season, thanks for all your support so far! Keep it going!
